[First Day Of MM]

The skies were blue and RI secondary 2 students carried their bag, with their slippers or sandals on, all the way to the hall. There we waited for the bus, which will take us on a wonderful journey, otherwise known as MM (:

The students were in havoc, and the ICs needed to take our files and notebooks. We were all excited for the MM trip. This is our first trip overseas as a cohort. Our group was the first to leave our alma mater. We were very enthuastic and were expecting many fun activities.

When we reached the Tuas checkpoint, we were in awe as we could pass through the immigration easily with the new passports. We are proud of how fast our country’s technology has progressed. However there was a long queue as most of the students do not have biometric passport and thus slowed down the journey. This shows that change leads to progress and it may be essential for survival. For example if there is a need for mass evacuation in Singapore, those with biometric passports could pass through easily. We learnt from our guide, Kak Su that the second link is called Tanjong Kupang in Malaysia.

After successfully passing both immigrations without any problems, we were finally on our way to our first stop known as the ‘Tea Dara’ . Before reaching our destination, we had a break at Lucky Garden where we bought snacks and foods. My friends and I actually spent more than 50 ringgit on chips! We learnt that we must be more prudent and save for the future. At the ‘Tea Dara’, we learnt a lot about making tea and the different type of tea. The guide told us about the processing and many more. However we could not see it with our own eyes as there was no processing on that day. Some of us felt that the the duration spent there could have been longer as we have travelled so far. Our friend Farhan , even dreamed about a Tea monster. It was quite funny indeed. Haha! LOL . ROFL. LOL !

After that, we went back to the coach and some of us were unhappy as we did not have our lunch yet and it is already four o’clock! We were exhausted and most of us slept on the coach. After about an hour, we finally reached the Pandan waterfalls where we received what we thought of for so long, our lunch! It consisted of fried rice, bee hoon, fried banana and many many more! I enjoyed the beef the most and even went for a second serving! After lunch, we went for a swim in the waterfall. It was surely enjoyable. Mr Sarkunnan, who checked the water for us, looked damn hot in the water! Those who didn’t went for a swim, played other games like ‘sepak takraw’. They too had fun.

Our last destination is the De Rhu Resort. Now we are writing this blog on a bed. Our roommates are bouncing on the bed. Haha. I think I am going to join them soon. Dinner was delicious, with the bbq chicken and prawns. Hmm. We are getting tired already. Zzzz////
We LOVE our hotel room!

It was a beautiful dayyyyy. Don’t let it get away.
